Wednesday Spread: Interview spread, The Westwood Tarot

Happy Wednesday, all! Today we're interviewing a new deck, the Westwood Tarot from REDFeather. This deck is heavily fantasy based so I'm intrigued to see what will turn up! As always, I didn't invent this spread.

Deck review: The Light Seer's Tarot by Chris-Anne

This 78-card tarot deck is a healing tool and guide to explore both the light and shadow sides of our nature.

By reimagining the traditional tarot archetypes and symbols in a contemporary, boho, and intuitive style, The Light Seer's Tarot expresses the light and shadow sides of our natures and explores the lessons that can be learned from both.

The expressive characters who live within the landscapes of the cards tell stories, ask questions, and provide guidance. This deck is an ideal companion as you seek to uncover the places in your life-and in yourself-that are most in need of illumination.

You can see the unboxing on TikTok or youtube and the silent flickthrough on TikTok or youtube. I posted the interview spread and Inner Harmony spread, and I reviewed the indepth guide book, Tarot for Light Seers, which I highly recommend!

Wednesday spread: Inner Harmony spread, Light Seer's Tarot

Welcome to the Wednesday spread! This week we're trying out one of the Major Arcana spreads from the Tarot for Light Seers book, as that's the deck I'm working with this week. This spread is associated with the Temperance card!

Book review: Tarot for Light Seers by Chris-Anne

Discover the meanings and symbolism of the tarot and travel the sunshine and shadow path of the Light Seer.

Tarot for Light Seers is filled with interpretations, keywords, prompts and spreads to help you decipher deeper meaning when reading tarot.

Expanding on the guidebook in The Light Seer's Tarot, this book takes a deep dive into the symbolism woven through the illustrations on each card and highlights the traditional Rider-Waite-Smith imagery that inspired the contemporary artwork. You will find a breakdown of the symbolism of each card alongside the traditional Rider-Waite-Smith card art for comparison.

Explore this collection of dreams, archetypes and stories as you walk the path of darkness and sunshine and channel the messages of the Light Seer. The relatable, contemporary characters help you to intuitively translate the card messages, and as you connect with their magic, they will become trusted guides bringing you closer to your inner landscapes and knowing.

Wednesday spread: Interview spread, Light Seer's Tarot (mini)

Happy Wednesday, all! This week we're interviewing the Light Seer's Tarot from Hay House; I'm using the mini version but it's exactly the same as the standard. As with the Sugar Skull a few weeks ago, this is a deck I've had for a while but decided to pick back up because I've been given the wonderful book!

As always, I didn't invent this spread, if you did I'd love to hear from you! (And I know how this read looks, but I promise I shuffle in between picking each card!)

Deck Review: Total Tarot's Egyptian Tarot

Made in tempera on papyrus, these cards are partly inspired by the Tarot devised by the famous occultist Jean-Baptiste Pitois in 1870. According to Pitois, the Tarot descended from the legendary Book of Thoth, a work of wisdom that supposedly guarded all the mysteries of Egyptian magic.

You can see the complete flickthrough on TikTok. I also posted an interview spread. See the video version of this review on Tiktok or youtube.

Deck review: The Sugar Skull Tarot deck by David A Ross and Carolina Martinez

This light-hearted, beautifully illustrated deck and guidebook brings the spiritual mysticism of sugar skulls to a fresh interpretation of each of the major and minor arcana to help you hone your intuition.

Sugar skulls, or calaveras, are traditionally made by hand to celebrate the Mexican celebration of Day of the Dead, or Dia de Muertos. Colorful and lovingly crafted, they are offerings for loved ones who have passed into the spirit realm.

The sugar skulls depicted throughout this deck are there to remind us of our spiritual journey and help us reach our full potential. Just as the Fool progresses throughout the entirety of the Major Arcana, we all have our own personal journeys that are represented through the tarot.

Whether it’s the Magician shooting the sugar skull bullseye, the High Priestess seeing her reflection in the water (thus revealing her inner truth in the form of a sugar skull), or the Fool feeling confident that he will create and manifest the perfect sugar skull by the time he finishes his journey, we all have an unrealized version of our true potential. The Sugar Skull Tarot Deck and Guidebook offers a refreshing new take on a timeless tradition and is the perfect tool to recognize the inner potential inside each of us. Let the brightly colored illustrations offer you all the inspiration you need to be the best person you can truly be so you can present a more accurate representation of yourself—confident, magical, and ready to give and receive love—to the world.

You can see the unboxing on Tiktok or Youtube and the silent flickthrough on Tiktok or Youtube. I posted two spreads, the interview spread and the Sugar Skull spread.

Wednesday Spread: The Sugar Skull Spread

Welcome to the Wednesday spread! We're still working with the Sugar Skull tarot deck and, as you might be able to tell from the title, this spread was designed by the deck author to use with it. As always I'm doing this blind, one card at a time, so let's see what we come up with! I'm writing this with 'I' and 'me' but feel free to consider it in terms of your own life.

Wednesday Spread: Interview spread, Sugar Skull Tarot deck

Welcome to the Wednesday spread! This deck is one I've had for a while, but not used recently; when I reviewed it I was very early in my tarot journey, and I thought it would be interesting to go back to it and see how my impressions have changed with practise.

This is the Sugar Skull Tarot deck from Simon & Schuster. As always, I found this spread, I didn't invent it, but I'd love to hear from you if you did!
