Wednesday Spread: The Ball, Dog Tarot

Welcome to the Wednesday spread! This is the Ball spread, found in the LWB for the Dog Tarot deck. As always, I'm doing this blind - turning only one card at a time, so sometimes the patterns take a while to become clear.

Querant's Self: Ace of Wands.

Enthusiastic and ready to get started! There's the potential for a lot of energy, if the subject interests you enough, and if you believe strongly in the cause, you'll put everything you have into it.

Ambitions and desires: King of Swords.

You want to react more logically and less emotionally, to have things make sense in your life. The King of Swords is focused and calm, and you feel you need that energy in your life!

Hopes and dreams: Five of Wands.

You want to find someone who'll challenge you, who'll keep you working to get better and not let you stagnate. Working with others is often better than trying to go it alone.

Achievements: The Fool.

You are not afraid to step forward and try new things! That's an important trait. Whether it's a new project in work or a new restaurant that's just opened up, you are right there waving your hand, ready to go.

Dependencies and obsessions: The High Priestess.

You are too occupied with your gut feelings! It's important to believe in yourself, but sometimes you just need to follow the evidence, not your hunches. Try to find the balance between the two.

Strengths and positive aspects: Five of Cups.

You know how to let go of things without holding on or brooding. Sometimes people leave you halfway through the wood, and you accept this and take your lessons from them.

Faults and weaknesses: Seven of Swords.

If you think it's necessary, you'll step over other people to get ahead. You take a very pragmatic view of these kinds of things.

Self perception: The Magician.

You imagine yourself as creating things out of nothing, bringing together disparate elements to make what you need. It's a powerful image!

Higher purpose or deepest desire: Four of Cups.

You want to find your 'thing' - the purpose that makes life better for you and makes your heart sing. Keep going! It's not out of reach.

This is a powerful spread! It speaks to someone actively working on themselves, striving to balance logic and intuition, taking bold steps forward while navigating the temptation to undermine others. Learning to embrace the lesson and release the rest will leave you in an incredibly strong position. It won’t be easy, but by channelling that Ace of Wands energy and finding the right partners, you’ll absolutely make it happen!
