Happy Wednesday, all! Today we're interviewing a new deck, the Westwood Tarot from REDFeather. This deck is heavily fantasy based so I'm intrigued to see what will turn up! As always, I didn't invent this spread.
As a Capricorn, I really feel this one! The King of Pentacles is a wise, grounded businessman, astute and able to size up a situation at a glance. He loves to guide others along the path he successfully walked. If I work with you, you'll teach me insight and acumen.
What are your strengths as a deck? Nine of Swords
This card is all about recognising that nightmares, although terrifying, are all in our minds. You are able to cut through the fear and see what's really there; you won't hide things behind a veil, you'll be clear and straightforward.
What are your limits? Six of Pentacles
You are generous and giving - to the people you deem worthy. As a deck, you may be more suited to personal use than to reading for others, preferring to work closely with one person than loosely with many.
What are you here to teach me? The Empress
The mother of the deck teaches compassion and love for all. She doesn't pick and choose her favourites, she is kind and generous to everyone who comes to her. Although you prefer to work one on one, you'll teach me to be open to all visitors, pushing me beyond your limits.
How can I best learn and collaborate with you? Five of Cups
By paying attention to everything you show me, not just the parts I like. There's always going to be parts of readings I like better, but I can't pick and choose; the reading works as a whole, not in pieces.
What is the potential outcome of our relationship? The Tower
You're going to shake up my world! Sometimes the old structures need to come down; it's painful, but it's for the best. You'll guide me through the process if I put my faith in you.
It seems that you'll be a very useful ally if I work with you in the right way! You are a good guide and you'll teach me to look at what's really there, paying attention to the whole picture. It may mean changing the way I think and believe, but it will be worth it in the end.
