Wednesday Spread: Interview spread, Supernatural Tiny Tarot

Happy Wednesday, all! Welcome to the Wednesday Spread. Today we're doing the interview spread with the Supernatural Tiny Tarot from Titan/Insight Editions. I have worked with the full size version, but not very seriously for quite a while; I wasn't even doing interview spreads back then! So this is going to be really interesting, I think.

Tell me about yourself: Queen of Goblets

For a long time, Ellen is the closest thing the Winchesters have to a mother; she worries about them, looks after them, and gives them a clip up the head when they're being stupid (ie most of the time.)  As a deck, you'll be able to teach me without overwhelming me and help me deal with the things you show me.

What are your strengths as a deck? King of Pentagrams

Crowley is the master of deal making, the undisputed best businessman in the Supernatural 'verse. He bargained his way up from a small time demon to the king of hell (even if the Winchesters seem to be able to take him out any time they feel like it.) This deck will be excellent at handling business or financial matters.

What are your limits? Knight of Blades

As a Knight of Hell, Abbadon is clever and strategic. But she can also be impulsive. I should make sure to think through your advice carefully to be certain it applies to the situation.

What are you here to teach me? 3 of Bones

Eve, the Mother of all Monsters, worked together with her children to create all the kinds of monsters and demons the Winchesters meet in their hunts. Collaborating with others can bring about wonderful results. Working together, you and I will find great insights.

How can I best learn and collaborate with you? 6 of Pentagrams

The card of give and take. This isn't a one way relationship; I need to give as good as I get in order to get the best results from you.

What is the potential outcome of our relationship? 10 of Bones

Poor Castiel is weighed down, he's lost his faith and things look bleak. But there's a glimmer of light. If we keep working together, you'll steer me through the bad patches and back to solid ground.

This is a nicely mixed read, with all the Minor suits represented, though the King of Pentacles does indicate a preference for business or financial matters. However, there's no Majors here at all! That's unusual and indicates that this deck is better for quick daily check ins or questions rather than involved, difficult readings.
