Wednesday spread: Three Card Spread, Transparent Tarot

Welcome to the Wednesday Spread! This is a three card spread. The LWB for the Transparent Tarot suggests using three cards in each space instead of one, so let's see how this will work!

Usually when doing a spread I look at each card individually. With this deck I got glimpses of the cards as I was putting them down, but I didn't look too closely!

This spread is Choice - Possible Outcome - Possible Outcome, which is a spread I haven't used before! Let's have a look at the first group, Choice.

(Apologies for the massive crease in the middle of the image - the cloth's been folded up in the box for a while!)

The cards are the Three of Swords, the Four of Pentacles, and the King of Wands.

As you can see from the group image, the Four is tucked all the way in the corner, protecting his coins, with the sad Three just beside him. The King is above them with his back turned. There has been some heartbreak here, perhaps a business enterprise that went wrong, and I think the choice is whether to leave it in the past or brood over it and let it consume you.

Possible Outcome 1: the Five of Pentacles, the Magician and the Eight of Cups.

The Five is down in that same corner, feeling lost and alone, with the Magician in the centre of the cards and the Eight reaching for the skies in the top right corner. There's some loneliness and abandonment going on, but with some belief and work, you can leave that behind and move to new heights, achieving great things.

Possible Outcome 2: The Moon, the Nine of Cups and the Page of Swords.

The Moon is in the centre of the cards, with the Nine directly under her and the Page just to the right, turned away. This could be a happy ending, with comfort and relaxation - or you could listen to the Moon's secret whispers, take the Page's enthusiasm to heart, and run headlong into the future without concern. Great things could await you! Or, the Moon could be deceiving you and letting the Page's enthusiasm ruin you. There's only one way to find out.

It's quite a complex read! The choice of moving on or wallowing in past hurts is always harder than it looks from the outside. Some steady work can lead to great things, or you can take a risk for a less certain outcome. It's all up to you!
