Hi all! Welcome to the Wednesday Spread. As the LWB for Patch doesn't have any unique spreads, I'm using this one I came up with! I'm interested to see how it'll read.

A spread for belonging, relationships, support networks, and discovering where you fit.

- understanding what helps or hinders connection

1. The Traveller
What am I bringing into this community?
Your strengths, habits, expectations, assumptions, and gifts.
What arrives with you.
Eight of Swords
I arrive already nervous about where I belong, can I fit in here. Entering a new group is always tricky, whether that's a hobby group, a relationship or just a new team at work. Overthinking never helps, though.
2. The Signal Fire
What am I seeking?
What need is drawing you towards others?
Connection?
Recognition?
Purpose?
Support?
Understanding?
Four of Coins
Stability. We all want things to be stable and normal. It's a basic human need. We just need to make sure we're not overlooking other aspects of the situation in our efforts to find it.
3. The Gate
What helps me belong?
Qualities, actions, attitudes, or circumstances that support connection.
The High Priestess
My intuition is my biggest ally here. It knows where I belong before any other part of me does. We should all trust our gut a bit more.
4. The Wall
What creates distance?
A fear, challenge, habit, misunderstanding, or barrier that makes belonging more difficult.
Three of Wands
The card of purposeful decisions. Am I already looking for the next thing before I've even settled in here? Looking ahead isn't a bad thing of itself, but if it stops us seeing what's in front of us, it becomes a problem.
5. The Circle
What kind of community serves me best?
The environment where you're most likely to thrive.
Not necessarily where you are now.
The Magician
We need a community where creativity is celebrated and enjoyed. The Magician uses what he has to make new things. The best groups lift us up and help us achieve new heights.
6. The Shared Future
What can be built together?
The potential that exists when genuine connection is allowed to grow.
The Empress
Well, it doesn't get much more on the nose than that, does it? The Empress is all about growth and increasing. If everything else goes well, we'll grow both inside and out in this group.
Interesting read! We have three Majors - this is an important topic. Interestingly, there are no Cups in this spread. While feelings are certainly present, this reading seems more focused on mindset, creativity, stability and personal growth than on emotional relationships alone.
