Happy Wednesday, all! Welcome to the Wednesday spread. This week we're interviewing the Wings & Crowns Romantasy deck! Visually, this deck is stunning, so I'm looking forward to seeing how it reads.
A very suitable card for this spread! The Page of Cups is a dreamer, a romantic, learning about life and love. This deck will be fantastic for emotional or romantic questions.
What are your strengths as a deck? Strength (The Reflected Queen)
Knowing when to use your strength and when not to is the core of this card. This deck will know when to be blunt and when to smooth things over.
What are your limits? Page of Swords
This Page sometimes assumes everyone knows the same things he does. I'll have to watch out for the deck making leaps and expecting me to keep up.
What are you here to teach me? The Chariot (The Stubborn Soldier)
The Chariot bursts through obstacles without slowing down. You're here to teach me to keep going when things look rough.
How can I best learn and collaborate with you? The World (Happily Ever After)
You function best in narrative, which makes a lot of sense in this deck! Spreads should be read as a whole rather than 'this, then this' and even one card pulls may add up to more than their individual meanings over time.
What is the potential outcome of our relationship? Temperance (The Balancing Act)
You'll teach me to keep things steady and even. Not too romantic, Page of Cups, and not too brainy, Page of Swords! Working together we'll find a nice even keel to hang on to.
It's an interesting read! This deck definitely has a personality of its own. Four Majors tell me this deck is going to have Opinions, and not be afraid to share them. There's no Wands or Pentacles; this deck is definitely more emotionally based. I'm excited to start tracking the spreads and see what stories this deck has to share.
