Happy Wednesday, all! Welcome to the Wednesday Spread. This week we're interviewing the Witches Tarot by Ellen Dugan and Llewellyn. I'm looking forward to seeing what this deck has to share!
Miles to go before you sleep! The Two of Wands represents a good beginning, and the strength of character to keep going. We'll need to work together to reach both of our full potentials.
What are your strengths as a deck? Six of Pentacles
You know that what goes around comes around. You won't be stingy or couch your advice in riddles - you'll be clear and straightforward, as long as I keep my questions and queries clear.
What are your limits? King of Swords
Questions about emotion may be a bit harder for you. Your advice will be clear and logical but might miss nuance.
What are you here to teach me? Three of Swords
Heartbreak comes. That is a truth of life. You'll help me deal with it when it happens.
How can I best learn and collaborate with you? Five of Swords
By not being dismayed at set backs. Every relationship takes time, and sometimes progress isn't linear, but our progress will be broadly forward if we're both patient and work at it.
What is the potential outcome of our relationship? Five of Wands
We are both going to push each other to be better and stronger. At times this will be annoying! But we'll do well working together.
This is an interesting read! No Majors suggests that this deck will be better at everyday reads rather than big subjects. The lack of Cups and several Swords reinforces that King of Swords - this feels like a deck for practical matters, not emotional.
Is this the kind of deck you’d reach for when you need honesty over comfort?
