Welcome to the Wednesday spread! This is the Tarot of the 78 Doors, a deck designed around doors and boundaries. It's a really fun deck and I'm enjoying working with it. Here's the interview spread for it to tell us a little about itself!
Three women laugh and chat as they get dressed up, ready for a night out together. This card is about fun and laughter together. You'll keep readings light and fun; you may not be great for serious or heavy readings, but you'll be great at what you do.
What are your strengths as a deck? Seven of Wands
Ali Baba opens a cave through sheer strength. Perseverance when things aren't going your way! Not giving up is very important. You'll make sure I get the message, no matter what it takes.
What are your limits? Temperance
A young woman kneels in front of a temple door, catching a stream of water from each door. Temperance is usually about balancing things together, but here it's about keeping opposing forces in balance - you may not be good at showing me how to integrate things, preferring to keep them separate instead.
What are you here to teach me? Seven of Swords
A young woman stands by a door, painting - but her painting doesn't look anything like the original. There are times when hiding the truth of something makes sense, and you'll teach me to know when those times are.
How can I best learn and collaborate with you? Ace of Pentacles
A wealthy woman sits in her garden. She holds a bunch of keys. She's ready to learn what they're for! I can best collaborate with you eagerly and openly, and you'll teach me everything you know.
What is the potential outcome of our relationship? The Lovers
A true partnership. We're going to work very well together.
A really mixed read here - two Majors and one of each Minor suit! This is a very balanced deck that will tackle most types of reading well.
