Welcome to the Wednesday spread! We're still working with the Storyteller's Tarot from Hay House, and this spread is designed for the deck. It's made to help make a decision when faced with two options, so I'm going to leave a little gap here, and before you read any further, figure out what you're trying to decide between, name one option One and the other Two, and then read on.
The Main Character (Your foundation): The Tower
Oh, dear. Your foundation is very shaky right now! Nothing feels stable or steady. The Tower shows up when a core belief has been torn away, when everything you relied on has gone. However, like Pandora's box, there is still hope. Your foundations will stablise and you can start to rebuild.
Inspiration (Your motivation): Three of Scepters
Things are starting to change and you're here for it! You're ready to start that rebuilding, to change your surroundings and find a new setting for yourself. Sure, it might mean a bit of uncertainty, but the potential gains are worth it.
"I want..." (Your ideal outcome): The Moon
Ideally, you'll be rid of the uncertainty and fear that plagues you now. The Moon shines a light on hidden secrets and fears, but if you face those fears, they'll usually fade away into nothing.
Context Clues 1 (What you need to know about Option One): Ten of Spikes
You are beaten and bruised, almost ready to give up. You've been betrayed and hurt so badly you can't bear it. But don't give up! You've endured the worst of the situation; things can only go up from here. Take the lessons you need and get ready to move on.
Context Clues 2 (What you need to know about Option Two): The Mage
Everything you need is at your fingertips! You don't need to wait or hesitate; just believe in yourself and go ahead. The time is now.
The First Ending (The likely outcome of Option One): The Lovers
A wonderful new relationship is waiting for you! It may be romantic, platonic or anything in between, but it will be very important to you and it will complete you in a way nothing else in your life can.
The Second Ending (The likely outcome of Option Two): Ace of Spikes
Your new project is going to start out brilliantly! You can see the path from here to completion and nothing is going to stop you from stepping onto it.
We have four Majors here! This is a substantial read. The two Spikes remind us to think logically, and the practical Scepter keeps us down-to-earth. Option 1 offers pain, but a rewarding new relationship; Option 2 sets us straight into a new, successful project. Only you know which is which!
