Wednesday Spread: Tarot for You and Me

Tarot for You and Me is designed as a welcoming, inclusive deck, which makes it great for group readings!Today we're trying a Full Moon Spread which I found on the Inner Goddess Tarot blog. Even if I can't see the moon for the rain, I know it's still up there! This is a variant on the ever-popular three card spread.
Like many themed decks, this one uses different names for some Majors and all the Minors. I've added the more usual names in brackets.

Illumination: What can no longer be hidden?
6 of Lanterns (Wands)
Stop hiding your light under a bushel! It's time to shine and accept the praise and compliments that you are due. It's hard sometimes - we're taught that humility is a virtue and that looking for the praise we're due is arrogant - but we need to remember that we are amazing, and that accepting our rightful praise can only make us shine all the brighter. Look how happy this guy is! He's not hiding his light.

Release: What can I let go of?
Queen of Lanterns (Wands)
The Queen of Wands is poised, brilliant, hard working, a perfectionist - doesn't that sound tiring! It's great to work hard and take pride in our work, but it's also important to rest and switch off now and then. Finding that balance is key to enjoying life, which is also a Wand trait.

Transformation: What is getting ready to emerge?
2 of Chalices (Cups)
This card represents a new relationship forming. Luckily, we've just found a new work/life balance, which will lead directly to this relationship! Relax, don't force things, let them play out naturally. Enjoy it.

There are no Majors in this reading, but it is Wand heavy. Wands are the suit of work and passion, so this is the area of our lives that needs attention right now. Remember, it is possible to both accept praise for our successes and not overwork ourselves! Balance is very important in everyone's lives.
