Wednesday Spread: Visconti Tarot

Happy Wednesday! Today we're working with the Visconti tarot. This is a very traditional deck, a copy of one that was made for a very rich family; all the gold parts would have been actual gold back in the day!

As always I would love to hear how you would have interpreted this, or whether you think it's aimed at you!

What have I been doing wrong?: Knight of Cups

The Knight of Cups is the ultimate romantic figure, and usually he's sincere about it - but sometimes, like the Prince in Into the Woods, it's about the charm, not the true love. Are you creating false impressions, deliberately or otherwise? Are you leading people on?

What areas of my life can I improve?: 4 of Cups

This is the card of boredom and ennui. But the point it makes is that there's always something else exciting and interesting, you just have to look around and see it. Are you giving up too easily? Try taking a moment to really look at your situation.

How can I work to improve this?: Ace of Wands

The Ace of Wands is the spark of inspiration that comes at the beginning of a new project, the moment when everything flows perfectly and there's nothing holding you back. Try to recapture that as you work. Can you divide your project into smaller sections and work on them one at a time?

How am I holding myself back?: 9 of Wands

The Nine of Wands is a card of heavy weights and troubles. There's a lot going on! It's hard to keep up! But...you could ask for help. There's people around who'd love to help you, if you only reached out. No one is an island, we all need some help now and then. It's not a failing.

We have two practical, hard working Wands and two emotional Cups in this reading. No Majors, so this isn't an earth shattering thing! But it doesn't have to be to make a big difference in your life. Take a breath, ask for help, try not to let yourself get bored and drop the project, and it'll work out well for you.
